Cleaning and Maintenance Guide for Sex Doll

Our dolls are made from soft and durable TPE material. However, TPE’s high porosity makes it prone to absorbing dirt, especially the dyes from dark-colored clothing. To keep your doll clean and in good condition, we recommend avoiding dark clothing whenever possible.

If dark clothing must be worn, wash it several times before dressing the doll, and avoid contact with sharp objects to protect the doll’s skin. Regular cleaning and maintenance will help keep the doll in optimal condition.

Skin peeling on dolls is usually caused by improper maintenance or excessive cleaning. Regularly applying oil to your doll helps slow down skin oxidation and aging.

Generally, applying oil after each cleaning can effectively protect the doll’s skin. The frequency of oil application should be adjusted based on usage, and we recommend using baby oil or mineral oil.

If peeling occurs, follow these steps to care for your doll:

• Thoroughly dry the doll’s tunnels and skin, ensuring there is no residual moisture.
• Once the doll is completely dry, apply a small amount of baby oil or mineral oil to the skin multiple times in thin layers.
• Allow the skin to fully absorb the oil in a well-ventilated area.
• Apply Realvagina Renewal Powder or baby powder to keep the doll’s skin smooth and shiny.

Good cleaning habits are the best way to prevent mold growth. We recommend cleaning the doll’s tunnel immediately after use. If the tunnel remains damp for an extended period, mold and bacteria can thrive, putting the doll in an unhealthy state. A moldy doll is not suitable for use. If mold is found in the tunnel, stop using the doll immediately to ensure hygiene and safety. Even if the mold is removed, invisible spores may remain. Therefore, always ensure the tunnel is thoroughly dried during routine cleaning. Moisture and a closed environment can easily lead to mold regrowth.

① It is recommended to use baby oil or mineral oil that does not contain silicone-based ingredients. Apply baby oil in small amounts multiple times, wait for the oil to be completely absorbed into the doll’s skin, and then apply renewal powder when the skin reaches a dry state. If the doll is from a new production batch, the TPE material surface may have a deeper pigment. Cleaning a silicone sex doll is actually very simple, but proper care can effectively extend its lifespan and maintain the soft, realistic feel of the skin.

① Use Warm Water + Mild Antibacterial Soap
Clean the doll with warm water (≤40℃ / 104℉) and a gentle, non-irritating antibacterial soap. Avoid strong alkaline or harsh cleaning products.

② Choose Soft Cleaning Tools
Gently wipe the doll with a soft sponge or microfiber cloth. Avoid scrubbing hard to prevent scratches on the surface.

③ Rinse Thoroughly
Make sure all soap residue is completely rinsed off. Long-term residue can affect the texture and feel of the silicone surface.

④ Avoid Harsh Products
Do not use alcohol, disinfectant sprays, scented toy cleaners, or any oily products. Silicone is very sensitive to strong chemicals, which can cause aging or discoloration of the material.

⑤ Pat Dry Gently
Use a clean microfiber towel to gently pat the surface dry. Avoid rubbing back and forth.

⑥ Fully Dry Internal Areas
Use a dedicated drying stick or a clean, soft cloth to remove water from internal areas. Make sure there’s no remaining moisture, and do not leave the drying stick inside the tunnel for a long time.

⑦ Allow Complete Air Drying
Wait until both the surface and internal areas are completely air-dried before dressing or storing the doll. Incomplete drying can lead to bacterial growth or unpleasant odors.

The most effective way to remove dye stains from a doll is actually to let the silicone material “recover” naturally. Silicone has the property of slowly absorbing and breaking down colored particles, so over time, some dyes will gradually fade. If you want to speed up the process, you can try the following method:

① Clean the doll with warm water (≤40℃ / 104℉).

② Optionally, soak the doll with a small amount of fabric softener to help release any adhered dye.

③ After cleaning, evenly sprinkle baby powder on the surface to absorb remaining oils and color residues.

Important: Even with these steps, stains may not be removed immediately. In most cases, time remains the most effective “repair” method.

Prevention Is More Important Than Cure

The best way to prevent staining is to prepare the doll before dressing:

① Wash all dark or new clothing once before use.

② For black garments, wash with warm water first to release excess dye.

③ Rinse with cold water afterward to reduce the risk of future color transfer.

④ Avoid wearing black or dark-colored tight clothing on the doll for more than a week at a time. Check daily for any signs of staining.

If your silicone doll has minor tears, you can repair them using silicone-specific adhesive, such as professional products like Silpoxy.

Repair Instructions:

① Clean the torn area thoroughly – ensure there’s no dust, oil, or moisture. Once completely dry, apply a small, even amount of adhesive to the tear according to the product instructions.

② Align and press the edges together – carefully match the torn edges and press them together, holding them in place for a short time to allow the silicone to bond. If needed, continue pressing until the adhesive sets. The process typically takes about 3–5 minutes.

③ Reinforce high-stress areas – if the torn area experiences frequent stress during use, you can apply multiple layers of silicone adhesive to strengthen the repair.

Tips:

① Tears in high-use areas like the vagina or anus require extra caution. Both Silpoxy and other silicone adhesives cure harder than the original silicone, which may slightly affect the feel during use.

② Applying plenty of lubricant during use is the best way to prevent further tearing.

③ Currently, Tantaly does not yet offer an official silicone adhesive for repairs. Related products are in development, so stay tuned.

Silicone easily attracts dust, hair, and other small particles. With proper daily care, you can keep the surface clean and smooth.

1. Apply Powder to Reduce Stickiness

After each cleaning and thorough drying, use a large makeup brush to lightly dust a small amount of Realvagina Renewal Powder or cornstarch evenly over the silicone surface. This helps reduce stickiness, prevent dust and hair from sticking, and restore the doll’s original dry, smooth feel.

Depending on usage, reapply the powder regularly. When the surface starts to feel sticky again, simply dust a thin layer of powder—avoid using too much.

2. Remove Attached Debris With Tape

For hair, dust, or small particles already on the surface, cut several pieces from a roll of wide tape and gently press them onto the areas to be cleaned. Lift repeatedly to pick up debris.

Although this method takes a little time, it is very effective. After cleaning, you can lightly dust the surface with baby powder to further reduce residue and restore a dry feel.

Tips:

Do not use oily products on silicone surfaces. Silicone does not require oil for maintenance; oils can damage the material structure and shorten its lifespan.

During shipping or use, silicone dolls may develop minor dimples. Here are common situations and how to address them:

① Dimples Caused by Packaging Foam

Foam is used to protect the doll’s limbs during transport. Tape used to secure the foam may leave pressure marks on the silicone surface.

How to Handle:

Remove all protective foam and tape.

Allow the dimples to gradually recover at room temperature—usually no additional action is needed.

Most dimples caused by packaging will naturally disappear within a few hours to a few days.

② Minor Dimples From Use or Storage

If minor dimples are not addressed promptly, they may leave permanent marks on the silicone surface.

How to Handle:

Gently stretch the silicone skin around the dimple.

Massage the dimpled area softly with your fingers.

Continue stretching and massaging until the silicone returns to its original shape.

The earlier you address the dimples, the easier it is to completely smooth them out.

The way you store a silicone doll has a significant impact on its condition. Improper positioning—such as leaving the doll in a seated position for long periods—can leave pressure marks on the silicone, which often last longer than expected.

To better protect your doll, follow these storage recommendations:

① Before storing, make sure the doll is fully dry to prevent mold growth or material damage.

② Whenever possible, store the doll flat with joints straightened and naturally relaxed. Place a soft mat or blanket underneath to avoid prolonged pressure from hard surfaces.

③ For dolls with pronounced hips or buttocks, laying the doll face down can help reduce concentrated pressure on these areas.

④ Do not leave tight shoulder straps, bras, belts, or other closely fitting accessories on the doll. Continuous pressure can create lasting indentations on the silicone surface.

To extend the lifespan of your silicone sex doll and maintain proper hygiene, follow these recommended care methods:

① Regular Deep Cleaning

Vaginal Cleaning: After each use, clean the vagina separately, or use a condom to reduce staining.

Full-Body Cleaning: It is recommended to perform a deep full-body cleaning every 2–4 weeks. The exact frequency can be adjusted based on usage and exposure.

② Storage and Dust Removal

If the doll is stored without a protective cover, dust the surface once a month.
